Terms of Use

These Terms describe the rules for using Stay and its features. By using Stay, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using Stay

Stay provides tools to help you capture and organize information, including notes, reminders, subscription tracking, installment and payment plan tracking, and AI Voice capture. Your use of Stay is subject to these Terms.

2. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining appropriate access to your account and device, and for the information you provide through Stay. You should take reasonable steps to protect access to your account and device. You can delete your account in the app under Settings; see the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Your content

You provide content to Stay — such as notes, captures, and confirmed reminders or tracking records — so that Stay can process and store it as necessary to provide the service to you. You retain ownership of your content. We use it only as needed to operate Stay for you, not to claim broader rights over it or to share it publicly.

4. AI-assisted features

Stay uses AI-assisted processing, including AI Voice, to transcribe and interpret the information you capture. AI Voice sends your recording to third-party AI services for processing, as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI-generated, transcribed, or AI-detected information may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing results before saving them and before relying on them.

Stay is not a chatbot or conversational assistant — it's designed to help you capture and organize, not to hold a conversation.

5. Reminders

Reminders in Stay are an organizational convenience. You remain responsible for tracking important deadlines, appointments, and tasks. Notification delivery can depend on factors outside Stay's control, including device permissions, operating system behavior, and device availability, so delivery is not guaranteed.

6. Tracking subscriptions and payment plans

Stay's subscription and installment tracking helps you organize information you capture or confirm. It does not charge you, make or cancel payments or subscriptions on your behalf, connect to your bank, or monitor card transactions, and it does not guarantee the accuracy of billing dates or amounts. The information shown depends on what you've captured and confirmed. This is separate from the Stay Pro subscription described below.

7. Stay Pro subscription

Stay Pro Monthly is an auto-renewable monthly subscription that unlocks Stay Pro features.

  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Apple processes the payment.
  • Price: The price is shown by Apple in the app and the App Store before you purchase. It is set by storefront and can vary by country or region and change over time.
  • Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel it.
  • Managing and cancelling: You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account subscription settings. Cancelling prevents future renewals. Access to Stay Pro generally remains available through the current subscription period, subject to the subscription status provided by Apple.
  • Restore Purchases: Restore Purchases is available in the app if you need to restore access on a device where you've already subscribed.
  • Purchases and refunds: Purchases, billing, and refund requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.
  • Deleting your account: Deleting your Stay account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. Stay cannot cancel your Apple subscription on your behalf. If you don't want Stay Pro to renew, cancel it yourself in your Apple account subscription settings.

Stay uses RevenueCat to determine whether your account has Stay Pro access. RevenueCat is not the payment processor.

8. Third-party services

Stay relies on third-party services, including Apple, Supabase, OpenAI, and RevenueCat, as described in the Privacy Policy. Those services may be subject to their own terms and policies, and Stay's features can depend on their availability.

9. Acceptable use

When using Stay, you agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Availability and changes

Stay may evolve over time. Features may be added, changed, improved, suspended, or discontinued, and we can't guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.

11. Intellectual property

The Stay app, website, branding, and associated design and software are protected intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you. You retain ownership of the content you provide, as described above.

12. Disclaimers

Stay is an organizational and productivity tool. It isn't intended to replace professional advice, and AI-assisted organization can contain mistakes. You should review reminders and tracking information where it matters, rather than relying on Stay alone.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Stay's liability in connection with your use of the service is limited.
